The Education Committee draws upon the unique expertise and capabilities of our Fellows to support, highlight and enhance the vital role of environmental law through engaged learning and practical scholarship. Often in partnership with other committees, the Education Committee develops and delivers a broad range of educational projects, programs, events, and activities, including substantive conference calls, webinars, regional programming, continuing legal education courses, and written materials. Some of these activities are for College members only, while others are open to the public. The Committee establishes and maintains guidance and standards for all ACOEL-sponsored and co-sponsored educational programs and publications. By facilitating a coordinated approach to the development and delivery of educational programs, publications and activities, the Committee helps the College to demonstrate and tell the promising story of how environmental laws are continuously improving environmental quality and public health in the United States and around the world.
