The American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL) announced April 8 the election of 18 new fellows. Each new College member has a depth of experience in – and has made substantial contributions to – the field of environmental law. The new fellows come from private practice, academia, not-for-profit organizations, and the government.
“The College has the great fortune to include the top environmental law practitioners in the United States and, now, Canada,” said ACOEL President Tracy Hester, professor at the University of Houston Law Center and Co-Director of its Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Law Center. “They represent the best of our field, and we’re delighted to welcome them into the College.”
