Elliott Laws is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Crowell & Moring where he serves as co-chair of the Environment and Natural Resources group. His practice focuses on strategic counseling and legal, policy and crisis management advice on environmental and energy policy issues, regulation and litigation, addressing Superfund and Hazardous Wastes, Brownfields Redevelopment, and other environmental areas. Elliott also serves as Administrative Trustee for Revitalizing Auto Communities Environmental Response or RACER Trust, established by the U.S. Government in 2011 to clean up and repurpose for redevelopment the former properties of Old General Motors Corp. He is a former Assistant Administrator for Solid Waste and Emergency Response (now OLEM) at EPA. He also served as President, Safety, Health and Environment at Texaco, Inc. He is a Public Member of the Administrative Conference of the United States and serves on the Department of Energy's Environmental Management Advisory Board,
