Jones Swanson Huddell & Daschbach, LLC

601 Poydras Street
New Orleans, LA 70130

Bessie Antin Daschbach is a managing member of Jones Swanson. She has extensive experience in all three of the firm's main practice areas-environmental, commercial and international law. Since Bessie joined Jones Swanson in 2011, she has led the firm's environmental litigation team. From 2013 to 2017, she spearheaded the landmark Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-East case against nearly 100 oil and gas companies for damage they did to Louisiana's coastal wetlands. Together with her team, Bessie has also represented landowners throughout Louisiana against some of the oil and gas industry's largest operators in land and groundwater contamination cases. Bessie has also helped on some of the firm's commercial cases, and, since 2016, has been instrumental in developing its international arbitration practice. Before joining Jones Swanson, Bessie handled commercial litigation at Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert in New Orleans as well as at Siller Wilk LLP in New York City. She has also worked with the International Labor Organization in Bangkok, the United Nations Legal Affairs Codification Division, and the Open Society Justice Initiative in New York City.
