For about 20 years I headed up the environmental practice at Arnold & Porter. I subsequently served as Chairman of the law firm for nine years. I retired in 2024. At an earlier time, I briefly worked at EPA in Region 1 and served on EPA’s Youth Advisory Board. For many years, I taught a course on hazardous waste law as an adjunct professor at Georgetown Law Center.
