The ACOEL Sponsorship Committee is firmly committed to maintaining the membership and active involvement of all ACOEL fellows, a group that includes the best environmental lawyers in private practice and from government, academia, and non-governmental organizations. Contributions from our sponsoring firms allow the College to offer a lower fee structure for both membership and our annual meetings to our fellows from government, academia, and NGOs as well as to our fellows achieving Emeritus Status. The College also strives to support robust educational and pro bono activities, including preparation of nationally recognized white papers, international pro bono presentations, and the pursuit of the rule of law on both a national and international basis. Our sponsors’ contributions also support those efforts. Our Committee is comprised of members selected on a regional basis, who take on the task of contacting Fellows in their respective regions in order to seek their involvement as sponsors.
